Upon your arrival at Hanoi Airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to downtown. Check into your hotel in Hanoi and have some rest. In the afternoon, get ready for a half-day Hanoi city tour starting with Ba Dinh Square, the biggest square in Hanoi where the city's cultural and political events take place. Next, visit the complex of Ho Chi Minh including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (from outside only as it closes in the afternoon). We will also explore Ho Chi Minh’s house-on-stilts, his fishpond and the Japanese One-Pillar Pagoda. Then, walk through the peaceful courtyards of the Temple of Literature, celebrated as the very first university in Vietnam. We’ll hop on traditional cyclos for a slow, 1-hour ride around the legendary Hoan Kiem Lake (the “Sword” Lake) and wander the narrow streets of the Old Quarter.
