Today, we will be taking you out on a half-day tour of Hanoi City, where you will discover the vibrant streets of Vietnam. In your half-day city tour, you will be exploring the Temple of Literature, with an optional Cyclo Tour through the Old Quarters. We will first visit the Temple of Literature, which was built in 1070 and is known as the first national university of Vietnam. After exploring this historic place, we will then proceed for an optional cyclo tour, which is a unique way to explore the city, where you sit in a three-wheeled bicycle taxi (cyclo) and have a driver pedal you around the streets. Your cyclo tour allows you to experience the city’s main attractions and local culture at a relaxed pace. Your optional Cyclo Tour will end at Dong Xuan Market, a large, historical wholesale and retail market in the Old Quarter of Hanoi, Vietnam, which was built in 1888. You can opt to shop here for a wide variety of goods, like clothes, accessories, souvenirs, and other Vietnamese local goods. Later, return to your hotel once your half-day city tour is over.
